Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to tidy up messes quickly, a robot vacuum cleaner and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I tested had excellent mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were strung up.

They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're up to.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test.  best rated robot vacuum Robot Vacuum Mops  comes with a stylish app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few buttons on the screen for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to adjust the cleaning mode in accordance with the amount of dirt. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more often when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

The mop roller comes with several other clever features, including docks that connects to your home plumbing system to clean and wash it without having to refill the mop. You can also use voice commands with the built-in voice assistant of the S8 that can be activated by saying "Hey Rocky" to specify room cleaning, modes, and granular control options with your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's one of the combinator robot vacuums that include mops that are also priced lower than the competition.

Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little amount of work to get started, including creating an account on the official app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though, the robot can start mopping and vacuuming with ease.

It is important to remember that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate image of your room. The object detection is also hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels and required a flip to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned and not just being swept. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to get into places that robot vacuums can't.

This model is essentially identical to the well-known X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction power of 8,700Pa and a few additional smart features. The upgraded RGBD sensor will learn to understand your home better and offer dynamic obstacle avoidance. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and put the waste in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. The battery life is long enough to remove large areas without the need for an additional charge during cleaning.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

As one of the more premium robot vacuum and mop models that we have reviewed, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets, and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method, which utilizes a continuous roller doused with water to pull up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided the stairs and was able to navigate close to walls without falling. However, it struggled with finely engrained debris and was not always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also very high, which means this model may not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easier and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. Eufy's application lets you manage all of its functions. It provides clear information and plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers and vacuums available, and offers impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor is able to recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with decent precision, and the app lets users fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and can apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces in order to avoid contamination.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike conventional robot vacuums which empty their bins of dust every time they have to be cleaned.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars more than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area and knows which areas to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can block things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.

It has other great notable features, like the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad self-washing and adjustable to the temperature of the water, and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach places that other mops can't reach. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom settings for every room in your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile rug. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping features this is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option to consider if you're seeking a flexible robot that can handle regular daily maintenance as well as touch-ups to messy water stains. It has a wide range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin and an additional water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It's surprisingly quiet, and it can move around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it isn't able to remove knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains slightly faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much pricier Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It has a range of cleaning modes, from the quiet mode with low power which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful  Turbo mode for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped spaces. It's quick and quiet and it is able to navigate tight spaces with ease. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than the majority of its competition, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be set to take pictures of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they will not be removed in future cleanings. Its photos are encrypted and are not tied to your account.

It's great for vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
